Visakhapatnam gears up to host the CII Partnership Summit on November 14–15, bringing together global leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss growth and investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.

The city is all set to host the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025, jointly organised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is personally overseeing the arrangements to ensure the summit’s grand success.
The Chief Minister is determined to use this summit to convey to the world the message — Invest in Andhra Pradesh.” His vision is to attract large-scale investments in green energy, IT, electronics, automobiles, space, defence, and tourism, and to position Visakhapatnam as a Global Trade Gateway on India’s eastern coast.
Preparations have been completed to host the prestigious event at the Andhra University Engineering College grounds in Visakhapatnam. The theme for the summit is Partners in Progress – India’s Road map to Viksit Bharat 2047.” Over 100 foreign delegates are expected to participate, and several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) related to investments will be signed.
From Wednesday to Saturday, Chief Minister Naidu will hold meetings with representatives of various companies, explaining investment opportunities across different sectors and regions of the state.
The summit will also feature roundtable sessions, thematic discussions, project launches, and foundation stone-laying ceremonies.
Upon arriving in Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister will meet Amit Kalyani, Vice Chairman of Bharat Forge. Later, he will review the arrangements for the Partnership Summit with CII representatives and senior officials.
On Thursday, the Chief Minister will participate in the Partners in Progress – India–Europe Cooperation for Sustainable Growth” roundtable at Novotel, Visakhapatnam. The discussions will focus on the green shift, sustainable innovation, and European investments.
In the afternoon, he will hold key meetings with delegates from Taiwan, Italy, Sweden, and the Netherlands. He will also meet representatives from SPP Pumps Ltd, ReNew Power, Balaji Action Buildwell, Murugappa Group, Joule Group, and Hero Future Engineers.
In the evening, he will attend the Vizag Economic Region event, followed by a Special Meeting of the CII National Council.
On Friday, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the 30th CII Partnership Summit. Union Minister for Commerce Piyush Goyal will participate in the inauguration of the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion. Distinguished guests such as Yusuff Ali, Baba Kalyani, and Karan Adani will also attend.
Following the inaugural session, a discussion on Technology, Trust, and Trade”will be held. In the afternoon, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will address the AI for Viksit Bharat” session, explaining how artificial intelligence can accelerate Andhra Pradesh’s economic growth.
The State Government will sign an agreement with Singapore representatives to launch direct flight services between Singapore and Vijayawada.
In the evening, the Chief Minister will participate in the “Reimagining Public Finance Summit” organised by the State Finance Department. Later, he will meet the Vice Chairman of the Sanjiv Goenka Group and lay the foundation stone for a new Lulu Mall in Visakhapatnam.
At night, he will attend a gala dinner hosted in honour of company representatives, government officials, and invitees.
On the second day of the summit, Saturday morning, the Chief Minister will interact with Bloomberg Media. He will then lay foundation stones for projects by Raymond, Sri City, and Indosole.
He will also meet delegations from Bahrain, New Zealand, Canada, and Japan. In the afternoon, he will inaugurate the Centre for Frontier Technologies of the World Economic Forum, followed by the foundation stone laying of a Google project.
In the evening, MoU exchange ceremonies will be held. The Chief Minister will then address a media conference summarising the outcomes of the Partnership Summit.
The State Government anticipates that the CII Partnership Summit will attract investments worth up to ₹10 lakh crore, leading to several agreements with leading companies.
To promote the event, Chief Minister Naidu conducted roadshows and visits in countries such as Singapore, the UAE, and the UK to invite global industrialists. Similarly, IT Minister Nara Lokesh and other ministers held consultations with representatives of various organisations in India and abroad to attract investments. The government believes that the summit will pave the way for the establishment of large-scale industries across Andhra Pradesh.
